About the artist
Jim Stovall leads several lives.
In one of his other lives, Stovall holds the position of Edward J. Meeman Distinguished Professor of Journalism at the University of Tennesse.
Before coming to UT in 2006, he taught journalism at the University of Alabama for 25 years and at Emory and Henry College in Emory, VA, for three years.
He is the author of a number of books including Writing for the Mass Media and is the creator and managing editor of the journalism education web site JPROF.com.
And in another of his other lives, Stovall keeps bees and tinkers around on a farm in east Tennessee.
